About VTG
VTG provides specialist training solutions focused on our Human Interaction Series and Tactical Skills Seried. VTG provides education, training, assessment and training support to organisations that require specialist trained staff, ensuring those personnel are prepared to job standard and to handle any task required.
VTG was conceived by former New Zealand Defence Force soldiers with over 25 years of experience, including multiple operational tours. Now the many specialist individual consultants contribute a raft of skills ranging from engineering, leadership and intelligence through to endurance training and Special Operations. VTG consultants have firsthand operational experience in the products that make up VTG services.
Originally the term ‘Virtus’ described the attribute of martial courage, but has since evolved to describe a range of Roman virtues. Those virtues include prudence, justice, temperance, self-control, and courage. The founding director chose the name ‘Virtus’ to match the business model we provide; through our training we aim to give the ‘martial courage’ to our clients under-pinned through the other qualities our name brings.
Human Interaction
Human interaction is something we all do in daily life, whether it’s talking with family and friends or the people we buy our coffee from. But there are times that require extra care when interacting with people – during meetings, liaison roles, working with informants or traveling in hostile environments.
